Solar with Battery Backup

The brief

A family tired of high electricity bills and frequent outages. They wanted lower running costs and enough backup to keep the essentials on when the grid drops.

What we did

Sized a system to their real usage rather than a sales target, upgraded the panel so the tie-in was safe, and installed the array with a battery bank. We set the changeover so the essentials ride through an outage automatically.

The result

A noticeably lower monthly bill, and backup power for the fridge, fans, lights and internet when the power goes.
